The Conference Excursion (pdf 0.2 Mb, ppt 1.9 Mb) on Wednesday afternoon/evening leaves the conference after lunch, traveling 1.5 hr by bus to St. Michaels, Maryland. Participants will take a tour of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and go for a boat ride on a skipjack (an historic sail-powered fishing vessel). There is some free time to see the very small town followed by dinner at a local restaurant (The Crab Claw), then back to Baltimore later in the evening.
