Each conference participant is entitled to a single occupant
accommodation for four nights (25-29 June) at the Conference
Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT). The room includes
dinner each night and breakfast each morning. With your participation
in the conference, you will also be provided lunch and AM/PM
breaks. Smoking rooms are available upon special request. All
these expenses are paid for by the conference.
For those conference participants who wish to arrive before
25 June and/or stay beyond 29 June, you should reserve your
additional nights directly with CCMIT. This can be done 1)
on the CCMIT website (www.ccmit.org) or 2) by calling toll-free
(866-629-3196). It is important that you state that you are
attending the "UMCES / Young scientist / P/ICES "
conference and confirm your existing reservation. Additional
nights can be purchased at our group rate of $125/single or
$175/double+ 12% tax. When you arrive at CCMIT, payment will
be requested (US cash, AMEX traveler's check, or credit card)
for any additional nights.
For those conference participants bringing non-conference
roommates (spouse, child, friend), you should provide the
conference organizers with the name of your guest and be prepared
to make payment (US cash, AMEX traveler's check, or credit
card) for the additional person when you check in at CCMIT's
Front Desk. You will be provided with a room with 2 double
beds, based on availability. The rate for one additional person
per night is $52 + 12% tax (children 11 and under are free).
Everyone has access to the indoor pool and fitness room. The
room rate includes dinner and breakfast only.
Meal tickets for lunch can be purchased for $16 at the Front
Desk when you arrive.
For those conference participants who are local and do not
need overnight accommodations, meal tickets can be purchased
at the CCMIT Front Desk at a daily rate: $10/breakfast; $46/lunch
and AM/PM breaks; and $24/dinner. Meal tickets can be purchased
at the Front Desk when you arrive.
