Entry visas may be necessary to travel to Brazil depending on your nationality. Click here for detailed information on visa requirements and entry conditions.

In some cases, participants may require a formal letter of invitation from the host country to obtain a visa. The Institute of Oceanography of the University of São Paulo (IOUSP) is going to issue formal invitation letters to all registrants from non-Brazilian-visa-waiver countries. If you need the letter of invitation for your application, please fill out the REQUEST FORM FOR INVITATION LETTER (pdf, doc) and email it along with a PASSPORT copy  (only the page containing your PHOTO) in jpeg / gif format to Dr. Michel Michaelovitch de Mahiques:
