Please note that because it takes time to get an official government-issued invitation letter and to deliver the original hardcopy to the applicant, new requests for letters will no longer be accepted after September 12. Please send your request to Ms. Ekaterina Kurilova as soon as possible before that date, even if your travel arrangements are not finalized.

Steps:

GENERAL INFORMATION

All foreign participants must have visas to travel to Russia.

Start your visa application process at your earliest convenience - get visa before making travel arrangements, unless you are going through a travel agency.

Get an invitation letter before you start your visa application process.

1. APPLY FOR AN INVITATION LETTER

Fill out the REQUEST FORM FOR AN INVITATION LETTER and email it allong with the PASSPORT copy (only the page containing your PHOTO) in jpeg / gif format and all questions/concerns regarding your visa application process to Ekaterina Kurilova.

Duration of an Invitation Letter process - 2-3 weeks.

IMPORTANT!

Invitation for a BUSINESS VISA (request through Ekaterina Kurilova) can include only Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, nearby suburbs and settlements, and a transit city.

2. APPLY FOR VISA

When you receive an invitation letter, submit your VISA application at the Russian Embassy or any Russian Consulate in your country.

Duration of the VISA application process depends on the regulations and requirements of the Consulate where the application is submitted. 3. TRAVEL AGENCY

If you are planning to visit other Russian cities, please request an INVITATION LETTER through a travel agency.

We recommend the following travel agencies:

Intour-Khabarovsk (http://www.intour-khabarovsk.com): the letter can be prepared in 1-2 days and costs $50; however, the visa support is provided only along with the hotel reservation (Intourist Hotel). The agency has special discount rates with Intourist Hotel; there is no need to pay for the invitation letter beforehand - a guest can pay at the hotel, during the check-in.
