Six hotels (see table) are designated as symposium hotels, which have special discount prices for the symposium registrants. You can book any of them through the online website, www.expo2012hotels.kr, which will be open exclusively to symposium registrants only for 20 days from Feb 1-20. After Feb 20 and until March 6, the site will be open to other events’ attendants and there is a high risk of most rooms being taken by then. Therefore, please remember to take advantage of the advance reservation period.

For your information, motels are relatively less expensive and easy to access (mostly located in the city). Pensions are house-style lodgings which provide private cooking facilities. They are usually located near mountains, parks or beaches, so most of them have beautiful scenery but relatively poor accessibility. The cost varies significantly according to the type and location of the pension. Both pensions and motels may not have translation service.
Some motels and pensions have the Goodstay logo (). This is the Korea Tourism Organization’s guarantee of reliable and affordable service and accommodation. Only motels/pensions whose facilities and operations meet high standards can receive the Goodstay endorsement.
Some motels/pensions provide airport pick-up and drop-off service, so please ask if this service is available when you make a reservation.
