Local transportation

There is a very convenient light rail service nicknamed MAX, that connects the airport to the city (~30 minutes). The red line runs right by the Doubletree Hotel (name of stop: “Lloyd Center/NE 11th Avenue”), and the Convention Center (name of stop: “Convention Center”). The fare is US$2.30.
The downtown area has a Fareless Square area served by the MAX, streetcars and city buses.
